In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life – The home of Aloha Friday. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My Question:
If you're in a long-term relationship or married, do you and your significant other ever go on dates?
My Answer:
As a matter of fact, we do! We go on picniks and all sorts of other "dates".
While you're here, check out my Mother's Day giveaway (Sweets & Treats Gift Basket).. Giveaway ends tonight!
We do and we love them! We are very fortunate to have all of our parnets close by and my husband and I are only children so we have the only grandchild. We have people begging to keep the kid so we get to do this more than most!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get to go on dates because of his schedule and we have young kids and I don't really do babysitters. However our bible study group , some members has offered to keep our kids while we take time to be alone, so the other day the dh and I went on a date. It was nice. simple. and nice.
ReplyDeleteIf you call shopping at Sam's Club a date- yep.
ReplyDeleteHe even buys me a Coke there.
Have a great weekend!

Hubby and I are trying to do this again. We finally had one not too long ago since we never went out for my B-day in December (bad storm and ER visit for my son).
ReplyDeletewe used to go on dates, even after we were married, but then he was deployed and is just now home... i would rather spend time at home with him and the baby now than a date at this moment
ReplyDeleteWe go out to lunch quite frequently. Our son is now a teen & we'll probably try to go out a bit more.
