The College Life

Today is my second day of college and I can't believe that I'm actually saying this, but I truly like it! It gives so much more freedom then high school ever did... Not to mention that I'm allowed to work ahead of the other students. That's actually my favorite part, I can be finished way before everyone else and not be told that I did anything wrong. Instead, the professor simply says "You may get on the computer to work until the rest of the students have finished or you may leave." How great is that, seriously!?
I didn't think that I'd enjoy being here. I was completely terrified by the thought of even walking into the class rooms.. But "Wow!!" This is so much better than I could have ever imagined it to be!!
Something that I suppose makes it easier is that the campus that I'm at for my classes is actually where my high school had it's vocational classes, therefore, I've been here and seen a lot of the professors in the past few years while I was taking my business classes! I already have over 300 hours in business, unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to get my core classes out of the way while in high school. But either way, I'm excited!
However, there is still a downside to all of this.. My financial aid hasn't come through for me to get my books and other things like that... But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for it. Yet, I don't think that I'm going to have enough money for my books and in all honesty, I just can't afford them with "out of pocket money"... blahh!
Oh well, something will happen eventually. I just have to keep my head held up high!
Thanks for reading!
:)
