Help donate gift baskets to our troops!

Although many people do not agree with the wars, fighting, and all that comes along with such topics, it is something that we hear about all of the time. It has become a way of life for many of our own troops in order to help protect this country and all that live in it. I believe that I speak for most of us (hopefully ALL of us) when I say that we can all respect and appreciate our troops and the things that they go through, daily, to fend for us!

With that being said, GourmetGiftBaskets.com is teaming up with bloggers to donate Christmas Gift Baskets to our military! Want to learn more? Here's how it works:

Military Donation
Review the selection of Christmas Gifts, http://www.gourmetgiftbaskets.com/Christmas-Gift-Baskets.asp, on your Blog. The topic of the Blog Post should discuss the Christmas gift selection and how they can be a great gift for someone. I you choose to participate, you won’t receive a product to review but they will donate two care packages to soldiers at a military base on behalf of your Blog. You can also custom write the card to the soldiers if you choose to. Providing the same offer to your readers is also encouraged. They will donate two care packages for every Blog Post written about their Christmas Gifts selection.

These Blog Posts should be posted between November 21st and December 9th. Send over a list of the Blog Post URLs by December 14th to make sure all the Care Packages being donated can reach the soldiers in time for Christmas.

So, if you decide to post about the Christmas Gifts selection on your blog, be sure to encourage your readers to do the same. Once you (and your readers, if applicable) have published the post, send me the specific post URL and I will pass it on to GourmetGiftBaskets.com's Online Marketing Manager.
I would like to personally thank GourmetGiftBaskets.com for, not only, donating so many gift baskets to our military troops, but I would also like to thank them for allowing us (the bloggers) to be such a large part of this great promotion.

I am not being compensated in any way for this post. This post is strictly for the pleasure of my readers and to help boost up the amount of donations given to our Military Troops.

GourmetGiftBaskets.com Christmas Review

That's right, everybody, the holidays are just around the corner! If you haven't already, then it's definitely time to get your butt in gear and start buying presents for all of your loved ones, friends, co-workers, and anyone else that you may choose - who knows, maybe even a little something for yourself. I, for one, suggest using GourmetGiftBaskets.com for your gifting needs. They have a little bit some of something for everyone!

A Bit about the Company: For a small company, GourmetGiftBaskets.com likes pulling off big projects that make it easier for customers to assemble an assortment of foods and flowers for a holiday or special occasion.
In 2008, GourmetGiftBaskets.com (No. 446) was the fastest-growing web-only merchant in Internet Retailer’s latest annual ranking of the 500 largest online retailers. GourmetGiftBaskets.com grew web sales last year by 172% to $12 million from $4.4 million in 2007. Despite the recession, GourmetGiftBaskets.com grew because the company developed web site features and functions that enhanced content, provided greater product detail and expedited checkout, says founder and president Ryan Abood.
I recently received the Christmas Gift Basket Classic in the mail. It was beautifully wrapped. I mean, the basket and the wrapping, alone, were enough to have me all excited! But then, I opened it and started peaking around at all of the goodies that filled this basket! Oh my, I couldn't believe it - neither could Joshua!
Here's a list of everything that came in the basket:
» Almond Pecan-dy Crunch by Morley Candy Makers
» Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies by J&M Foods
» Dipping Pretzels by East Shore Specialty Foods
» Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip
» Salted Peanuts in Box by Feridie's
» Signature Dark Chocolate Bar by Lake Champlain
» Buttered Peanut Crunch by Old Dominion Peanut Company
» Metropolitan Trail Mix by GourmetGiftBaskets.com
» Parmesan Artichoke & Garlic Cheese Biscuits by Salem Baking Company
» Chocolate Covered Cherries by Marich

I didn't know what to try first, considering that everything sounded so delicious! So, Joshua helped me decide! Isn't that what husbands are for - helping?! He dove head first into the container of Buttered Peanut Crunch! We both loved them, no doubt. But I must admit that my absolute favorite, without any doubt, what-so-ever was the Chocoalte Covered Cherries! I'd never had chocolate covered cherries that tasted the way that these tasted! The chocolate was the kind that you dream of: sweet, smooth, perfect.
There were so many different goodies in the basket that I assumed that I was bound to dislike something, and I was right... the empty basket!
Allow me to let you all in on a little secret, Joshua and I tend to call me a "pro-snacker" - I almost always have something to snack on, rather I'm watching t.v, in the car, anywhere! So, I tend to consider myself to be a pretty good judge of good snacks, and I'm telling you, these treats were wonderful! As I mentioned earlier, you may even be looking for a little something for yourself, and if you are - here it is!
Well, even if you decide not to go with this particular basket, be sure to check out all of their other Christmas Baskets, I'm sure that there is something for everyone on your gift-giving list.
Also, please be sure to keep in mind that GourmetGiftBaskets.com is teaming up with all of us bloggers to donate Christmas Baskets to our military! Want to learn more about this? Check out this post!
I received the Christmas Gift Basket Classic free of cost, in order to do my review. The opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

Now, I'm pretty sure that we can all agree that children are our future - they're an overall blessing to this world. And now, MyOwnPet will be donating $5 for every MyOwnPet balloon purchased, that will go directly to Canines for Disabled Kids. Be sure to check this out!!
