Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My Question:
Did you ever attend college and graduate (any form of degree)? And if so, is what you majored in actually helping you?
My Answer:
As of right now, I'm still in college. I'm majoring in business & hoping to open a storage units building. Being that I'm still in the process, thus far, college has not helped me.

I graduated from college and graduate school. I am a SAHM, so no, my schooling has not helped, just racked up a lot of loans.
ReplyDeleteI graduated with a degree in education. I taught for 3 years then let go. With that said, is it helping me? Nope! Can you tell I am alittle bitter? :)
ReplyDeleteYes I do...BS in Zoology and MHS (Master of Health Science) in Epidemiology. My master's is specific but surprisingly I've been able to do a lot with it. As for the zoology, well, I can identify parts of a crab while eating it.
ReplyDeleteyeah I majored in journalism.. it was fun by then and it helped for like half a year:P but then again now i kinda like what path i took in life:)

ReplyDeleteI went to college for 2 degree's of which i never obtained due to life's obstacles.
ReplyDeleteNeither of them helped me get a job after college. I stayed in the same profession I was in when I was going to college.
My son just graduated from college waiting for him to look for a job. Good luck to you
I actually got a degree in business and went on into nursing. There are a lot of things I learned that I do use on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteI have a BA in Sociology, with hopes of being a social worker. That never worked out. Maybe I can use it someday though. I wish I had majored in accounting instead that is something I am good at and I think I could have used it more.
