EyeglassesUSA.com Review

GlassesUSA.com could potentially save you money, year after year! That's right! I started off this by telling you that some place could actually 'save you money'! Not only did I say it, but I mean it! They have high quality frames and lenses, offer a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee!

To top that all off, they even have a great refer-a-friend program. People all over wear eyeglasses, it's a simple statement that can be proven by taking a simple stroll through your neighborhood store. In fact between my husband's imediate family and my imediate family, there are 9 out of 15 people that wear eyeglasses for reading or for everyday seeing. Just think of all of the people that you know that wear glasses. Really, count them. Now start thinking of the profit that you could make off of them just bthrough the refer-a-friend program.

Unfortunately for all of the people that do wear glasses, cheap glasses can be hard to come across. My dad, for one spends nearly $400 for a pair of glasses everytime that he needs to get new ones. If you decide to order glasses through any of the links available in this post, you could pay just a fraction of the average price that you normally pay for glasses! Think about it, saving money on something that is a necessity, especially around the holidays - could things really get much better than that?!

Speaking of holidays, what gifts have you considered for some of your friends and family? Things that people will never use, because if that's the case, why not consider something useful? You could always buy that hard-to-shop for person in your life, a nice, inexpensive pair of glasses. Think about it, if you wear glasses and are needing a new pair, would you rather get a new decorative mouse-pad for your computer or a new pair of glasses? Now, I know all of us bloggers LOVE our computers, but even still, I'd much prefer the glasses.

Also, if you do buy eyeglasses online, you could use one of these discount codes, during their Early Holiday Sale, to save even more money on the the glasses that you buy:
Take 20% off any frame in our iSee Eyewear collection and get free shipping within the US. Code: iSee20FS (you can find the collection here: http://www.glassesusa.com/isee-eyewear)
Take 10% off any order of prescription glasses. Code: Blog10

This is a sponsored post that I am being compensated for. However, all opnions are 100%, completely my own.

Help donate gift baskets to our troops!

Although many people do not agree with the wars, fighting, and all that comes along with such topics, it is something that we hear about all of the time. It has become a way of life for many of our own troops in order to help protect this country and all that live in it. I believe that I speak for most of us (hopefully ALL of us) when I say that we can all respect and appreciate our troops and the things that they go through, daily, to fend for us!

With that being said, GourmetGiftBaskets.com is teaming up with bloggers to donate Christmas Gift Baskets to our military! Want to learn more? Here's how it works:

Military Donation
Review the selection of Christmas Gifts, http://www.gourmetgiftbaskets.com/Christmas-Gift-Baskets.asp, on your Blog. The topic of the Blog Post should discuss the Christmas gift selection and how they can be a great gift for someone. I you choose to participate, you won’t receive a product to review but they will donate two care packages to soldiers at a military base on behalf of your Blog. You can also custom write the card to the soldiers if you choose to. Providing the same offer to your readers is also encouraged. They will donate two care packages for every Blog Post written about their Christmas Gifts selection.

These Blog Posts should be posted between November 21st and December 9th. Send over a list of the Blog Post URLs by December 14th to make sure all the Care Packages being donated can reach the soldiers in time for Christmas.

So, if you decide to post about the Christmas Gifts selection on your blog, be sure to encourage your readers to do the same. Once you (and your readers, if applicable) have published the post, send me the specific post URL and I will pass it on to GourmetGiftBaskets.com's Online Marketing Manager.
I would like to personally thank GourmetGiftBaskets.com for, not only, donating so many gift baskets to our military troops, but I would also like to thank them for allowing us (the bloggers) to be such a large part of this great promotion.

I am not being compensated in any way for this post. This post is strictly for the pleasure of my readers and to help boost up the amount of donations given to our Military Troops.

GourmetGiftBaskets.com Christmas Review

That's right, everybody, the holidays are just around the corner! If you haven't already, then it's definitely time to get your butt in gear and start buying presents for all of your loved ones, friends, co-workers, and anyone else that you may choose - who knows, maybe even a little something for yourself. I, for one, suggest using GourmetGiftBaskets.com for your gifting needs. They have a little bit some of something for everyone!

A Bit about the Company: For a small company, GourmetGiftBaskets.com likes pulling off big projects that make it easier for customers to assemble an assortment of foods and flowers for a holiday or special occasion.
In 2008, GourmetGiftBaskets.com (No. 446) was the fastest-growing web-only merchant in Internet Retailer’s latest annual ranking of the 500 largest online retailers. GourmetGiftBaskets.com grew web sales last year by 172% to $12 million from $4.4 million in 2007. Despite the recession, GourmetGiftBaskets.com grew because the company developed web site features and functions that enhanced content, provided greater product detail and expedited checkout, says founder and president Ryan Abood.
I recently received the Christmas Gift Basket Classic in the mail. It was beautifully wrapped. I mean, the basket and the wrapping, alone, were enough to have me all excited! But then, I opened it and started peaking around at all of the goodies that filled this basket! Oh my, I couldn't believe it - neither could Joshua!
Here's a list of everything that came in the basket:
» Almond Pecan-dy Crunch by Morley Candy Makers
» Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies by J&M Foods
» Dipping Pretzels by East Shore Specialty Foods
» Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip
» Salted Peanuts in Box by Feridie's
» Signature Dark Chocolate Bar by Lake Champlain
» Buttered Peanut Crunch by Old Dominion Peanut Company
» Metropolitan Trail Mix by GourmetGiftBaskets.com
» Parmesan Artichoke & Garlic Cheese Biscuits by Salem Baking Company
» Chocolate Covered Cherries by Marich

I didn't know what to try first, considering that everything sounded so delicious! So, Joshua helped me decide! Isn't that what husbands are for - helping?! He dove head first into the container of Buttered Peanut Crunch! We both loved them, no doubt. But I must admit that my absolute favorite, without any doubt, what-so-ever was the Chocoalte Covered Cherries! I'd never had chocolate covered cherries that tasted the way that these tasted! The chocolate was the kind that you dream of: sweet, smooth, perfect.
There were so many different goodies in the basket that I assumed that I was bound to dislike something, and I was right... the empty basket!
Allow me to let you all in on a little secret, Joshua and I tend to call me a "pro-snacker" - I almost always have something to snack on, rather I'm watching t.v, in the car, anywhere! So, I tend to consider myself to be a pretty good judge of good snacks, and I'm telling you, these treats were wonderful! As I mentioned earlier, you may even be looking for a little something for yourself, and if you are - here it is!
Well, even if you decide not to go with this particular basket, be sure to check out all of their other Christmas Baskets, I'm sure that there is something for everyone on your gift-giving list.
Also, please be sure to keep in mind that GourmetGiftBaskets.com is teaming up with all of us bloggers to donate Christmas Baskets to our military! Want to learn more about this? Check out this post!
I received the Christmas Gift Basket Classic free of cost, in order to do my review. The opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

SnackAisle.com Review

I'm pretty sure that we can all agree that snacks are a great thing. Maybe I'm speaking for everyone, which isn't always a good idea, but I'm pretty sure that it's unanimous: snacks = love. I cannot think of a single day that I have went without eating some form of snack, rather is be chips or fruit snacks. Now that I have been introduced to SnackAisle.com, I'm sure that I will eat them even more often - which may not be such a good thing.

I was able to review a box full of snacks. The snacks included a variety of Pretzel Crisps, Plocky's Hummus Chips, a KIND Bar, Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame, and Kettle Brand Chips. A few days after receiving the package, I was in the hospital giving birth to our precious baby girl. Some of these snacks took a trip with me to give me something to snack on while in the hospital.

I was sent six different flavors of Pretzel Crisps: Original, Buffalo Wing, Garlic Parmesan, Sesame, Everything, and Cinnamon Toast. I fell in love with these. My favorites were the Original, Garlic Parmesan, and the Cinnamon Toast. Mmmm, just thinking about the Garlic Parmasan makes me want to go to order ten more bags of them. The Pretzel Crisps have a wonderful crunch mixed with a fantastic taste. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I received two bags of Plocky's Hummus Chips: Roasted Garlic and Roasted Red Pepper. I was a little hesitant to try these chips, as I do not care for hummus dip but I gave them a shot. Believe it or not, they aren't half bad. They're something to get use to, but not bad at all. We ate both bags of chips in a matter of days.

I was sent one Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew KIND Bar. I must admit, it was something that I will not be purchasing in the future. The chocolate did not seem to be strong tasting and I could barelt taste the cherry flavor at all. To me, the KIND Bar was not flavored well enough. It was like drinking a diet soda - just not enough ummff.

I received two bags of Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame: Lightly Salted and Goji Berry Blend. This is another one of those things that I just won't try again. It may be great to some people, but I was far from liking it. I could not even finish the bag, of either flavors. They had such an odd taste and flavor. It just was not very good. Although I love tasting new things, I also learn quickly about what I do and do not like.

I was sent one big bag of Kettle Brand Chips  in 40% Reduced Fat Sea Salted. These chips are wonderful. They have a nice crunch to them and you can't even tell that they're reduced far or sea salt. They taste so good and are incredibly addictive.

Without a doubt, SnackAisle.com has introduced me to a whole new world of snacks - they offer so many different brands and types of snacks. Believe me, you won't want to miss out on the goodies that they have to offer. You can even purchase products by the case and with Halloween just around the corner, you could save tons of money by purchasing from SnackAisle.com.

EdenFantasys Review

**WARNING** 18+ OLDER POST!

As many of you already know, Joshua and I got married on March 12, 2011 - yes, that means that we're newlyweds. It's a great feeling to be married to the person that you love and that loves you, in return. And being that many of you reading this are married, I'm sure that we all know what comes along with marriage - sex. It's no big secret. Although I will not be going into deep detail, as I feel that my sexual relations with my husband are to be kept between the two of us, I will be explaining many products and how they've done for Joshua and me.

**PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED IF UNDER 18**

A Bit About the Company: EdenFantasys.com invites you to learn from others, share your experiences and re-discover sex. We offer online shopping you can trust, a welcoming community and a wealth of inspiring resources.

EdenFantasys.com has a wide selection of products, offers a positive sex community, and gives the highest standards for online transactions. Yes, I know, most companies of this sort would throw 'sex' in your face - spam, unwanted junk mail, etc - but that just isn't the case with EdenFantasys. You can view their principles and such by clicking here.

I was lucky enough to review the Honeymoon Carry-On Bag from EdenFantasys, which seemed to be the perfect item considering that my husband and I are newly married.
As you can see by the below list, the bag came filled with tons of sexual goodies. In the bag, we found:
»taper candles
»strip poker playing cards
»massage oil
»two colors of edible body paint
»furry handcuffs
»a blindfold
»warming oil
»duo-tone balls
»love beads
»glow in the dark pleasure sleeve
»moist lubricant
»engagement ring cock ring
»toy cleaner
»bubbles of love
»rabbit sleeve, and
»4" waterproof massager with 3 interchangeable heads.

As I said before, the bag was packed full.
I received this bag while I was still pregnant, and at the time of receiving it, I was in my last couple of months of being pregnant - you know what I'm talking about, the 'don't touch me' stage, the 'I can't see my feet' stage. So, Joshua and I did not expect to get to use most of the products. We found out very quickly that we were wrong.

We ran through products left and right, trying different things. Our favorites were the Moist lubricant (which we still use), the glow in the dark pleasure sleeve, and the body paint.

Let me just be honest for a minuter. I'm a shy person, despite the fact that I'm writing a sex-based post. I'm not one for change or anything, although it can be a great thing. I had never used any type of sex toys or lubes - it just wasn't my thing.. or so I had thought.
I never would have guessed that a lubricant could make such a difference in sex. It just isn't something that I would think to use, seeming as I get infections wayyy too easily. But Moist is a wonderful product. It stays wet, very wet. It isn't very messy (unless you open it like we did and it spills) and lasts a long time.

The pleasure sleeve was incredible. It gave an entire new feel to sex. There was more texture, which oddly made it more enjoyable. We also tried turning it inside out during a handjob (as recommended) and Joshua said that it was a unique, great feeling. It has become one of the frequent used items in our bedroom.

The body paint, ha. I cannot forget that stuff. It has been a blast, allowing us to play more, draw on each other, and write secret messages on one another. It has been a lot of fun, and tastes pretty good, too.

We have not used the 4" waterproof massager yet. I'm not really much into vibrators but I am trying to work myself up to give it a shot, same goes for the rabbit sleeve. We've played around with the love beads and duo-tone balls but are not very pleased with them.

Rather your relationship is just beginning or just beginning to reach a damper in the sex department, EdenFantasys.com has something to offer. You wouldn't believe how the way that their products could turn around your sex life. As I said, I was toward the end of my pregnancy and yet we were still having sex on a regular basis, due to the help and curiousity of the products.

I receieved the Honeymoon Carry-On bag free of cost in order to do my review. The opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

Time has flown past me..

It has been too long since I last posted anything. Things have become so crazy and there are sooo many new things going on.

Aliya Jade Parrott was born on July 26, 2011 at 1:13 pm. She wieghed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19.5 inches long.

She is now wieghing in at 10.4 pounds and is 21.5 inches long!! I cannot believe how much she has grown in such a short time! She is 'cooing' AND smiling already! Her smile is gorgeous!!! I will post a picture once I get internet again, however, for now, I am internet-less due to our move..

YES, I said 'our move'! Joshua, myself, and Aliya now have our very own apartment. No more living with my parents - although I do love them, it's much easier to be on our own rather than obiding by their house rules while trying to start our own family. The only damper is that we cannot afford internet at this time, it'll take a little while before we can get all of that.

Also, Joshua is working for a construction company now.. It can be long days, but it pays well, which is what we're needing at the time.

I apologize for not being around much, and I am going to do my best to get things together so that I am able to be around more. Thanks for still following me and keeping up with my blog!!

Chaka's Mmm Sauce Review & Giveaway

I don’t know about you, but I get tired of having the same ol’ baked chicken or spaghetti night after night. Yes, we do cook other things, but sometimes we forget to try NEW things! Too much of the same thing (even if it’s a GREAT thing) can be boring, it’s too repetitive and drives me insane. That’s why, whenever I came across Chaka’s Mmm Sauce I knew I wanted to try it.

What’s up with that name?Whenever we are grilling up samples at the numerous events we participate in each year, the first question people ask is “What’s up with that name?” CHAKA is an old Chamarru Clan name. Chaka is from Guam and used his surname for the product. The MMM portion of the name comes from the reaction just about every person has after their very first taste. MMMMMMMMM…..it’s quite comical. As Chaka himself always says “Once you master the grill, you can taste the passion!”

Chaka’s Mmm Sauce is extremely versatile and can be used on any different type of meat: chicken, beef, pork, and fish, anything you want. Use it as a marinade, sauce, dressing, or any other way you want; the possibilities are endless. Is there better news than it being versatile? Absolutely. It’s healthy. You know, the thing that everyone talks about but can rarely find. Yeah! That’s what this is. How are they healthy, you ask? These sauces are sugar free, fat free and dairy free!

The man that invented this sauce, Chaka, was born in Guam. Unfortunately for him, he was a diabetic. Therefore, finding a sauce was nearly impossible due to how much sugar is found in sauces. So he thought back to his old family recipe, which had no sugar, and decided it would be the best marinade to solve his issue.

I was able to review the Original and the Zesty. At first, I didn’t know if I would like it. It doesn’t taste like your average sauce. First things first, I tried the Original as a salad dressing. I have to admit, I didn’t care for it. It just wasn’t what I prefer. I thought the taste didn’t suit a salad. From that point on, I was nervous to use it cooking dinner. It took me a couple of days and then I tried again.

This time, I used it as a marinade for chicken. It made all of the difference in the world! The sauce tasted fantastic as a marinade! The chicken had a great taste and was super moist! The skin was crispy (which I love!), meat was moist; I had half-expected the sauce to dry out the meat, especially after my first encounter with the sauce. However it was truly fantastic! We didn’t season the chicken with anything, no salt – nothing. All that we did was marinade the chicken in the Chaka’s Mmm Sauce - Original Flavor.

So, although I did not care for the sauce as a dressing, I thought it was a great marinade. It is definitely something that I would use again (which we plan to, using pork chops). Be sure that you check it out for yourself!

WHAT YOU WIN:

One lucky winner will receive their very own Sample Pack (valued at $16.95), which includes:
1 - 18oz Original
1 - 18oz Zesty
